Room Tour

As some of you may have read I have recently started a new job which meant leaving university forever, leaving my parents house and moving in to a new flat.  It's not my own, it's only temporary, but I wanted to make it as homely and as nice as possible as I am going to be spending a lot of time here.  My room at uni was amazing, much nicer than the average student room.  So I wasn't too happy about moving in to this smaller, slightly scruffier room.  But at least I have an ensuite and now everything is unpacked I quite like it.

Bed. I love my sleep, and being comfy in bed with my memory foam mattress topper.

Entrance to my room. Door on the left is the bathroom, wardrobes on the right.

View inside my wardrobe.  I have way too many clothes, this is only half!

Yes I do organise my clothes by colour.  The black section is the biggest.

View out the window.

Comfy chair with the shoes I wear most regularly, the rest are in a box in the wardrobe.

Desk. Speakers, laptop, TV and calender to organise myself.

Some of my earrings.

Perfumes, beauty bits and bobs, books.

Make-up and hair corner.

Jewellery boxes.

Love having an ensuite!

My room is messy, but that's me!  Do you have any good storage ideas?

August Already?

July was such a busy month for me and it whirled by.  From job hunting, to job offers, to accepting a job, moving house and turning 23, so much happened and I hardly had time to post! So I did a little round up of pictures to sum up the last month.

1. Finally bought a new phone.  2. Spent a bit too much money. 3. Packed to leave uni and move.  So much stuff!
4. Lots of sunbathing! 5. Many countryside walks. 6. My new room.
7. New job! My uniform. 8. Goodbye uni room. 9. I will miss those wardrobes!

Two weeks ago I moved into my new flat and started my new job which is going awesome so far.   Yesterday I moved my final items out of my house at university and handed my keys back.  I felt really sad, and then I didn't feel like a student anymore.  I now have internet in my flat so more pictures of that and regular posting to continue!
